I have been sitting here for the last hour doing NOTHING but practicing this stage. I'm ashamed of how frustrated I am; it's only been an hour!

This was the best I could do overall. I had a couple of runs where the Stage portion was PERFECT, but I didn't save those replays because I would die three times in a row to a nonspell or spellcard or whatever of Murasa.

Murasa's second-to-last card is the most Goddamn horrible fucking frustrating thing on the planet. I've managed to capture it a couple of times, and I see the pattern to it, but holy fucking shit my fingers will just not do it. I'll be sitting in the narrow stream of safety, but then part of my mind thinks "Man, those bullets on the right are really close!" and makes me move a bit to the left and into bullets before the part of my mind that isn't fucking retarded can stop it. There's nothing like dodging OUT of complete safety and directly INTO bullets MULTIPLE TIMES ON A SINGLE ATTEMPT. I'm beyond frustrated right now.

As for Murasa's final spell card, I'm not finding the pattern to it at all. I obviously screwed it up on this run after my bomb, making her spawn on the edges instead of the corners because I had the wrong timing to move to the next corner, but even when I manage to get squarely in the corners, it's not like the path is obvious. There have been moments where I'd find these wonderfully clear pathways, heading in straight lines through these nice gaps towards the center of the expanding circles of bullets, but I can only follow these paths for a short while before I get clipped by a bullet on one of the inner circles. I'm not finding this to be simple or easy or whatever it was that people called it earlier at all.

Goodness, MoF's hard mode is quite a bit more difficult than EoSD's or PCB's. After quite a bit of practice, I've finally made it to Kanako, but not being used to how fast her patterns are made me die quite quickly.

And fuck Sanae, seriously. All of her everything is bullshit. This game balances it out by giving you a million bombs, but Christ.

OP here. I've temporarily given up on SA.

I'm gonna chake id eajy with Ten Desires, and then work through Undefined Fantastic Object and then back to SA.

I'm just sick of struggling with SA so much. I WILL beat it, but right now I'm just not having fun with it anymore.

I find it insanely funny how casual TD is compared to SA, though. Continues revive you right where you died, REACHING a stage unlocks it in Practice mode instead of having to beat it (not that beating them is hard), there's an option to practice against individual spell cards (wasn't that feature in one of the previous games too?), there's that whole super-mode-thing whenever you die, and certain things get unlocked for ALL characters the moment you unlock them for one.

It's nice to just... relax.
