I've given up on having friends. It seems like a pointless endeavor. It's never really done me any good in the past. Friends both suck, and I'm a pretty bad friend myself. I don't have the energy to deal with people as much as they seem to want.
/jp/ and a few other little places have been good enough a replacement. It might get lonely sometimes, but I find it's preferable to the feeling of being trapped with things that I don't understand nor care to understand.
Just something you learn to live with after a while.
