I don't really find Sakuya fans so bad, that is if you ignore the "meme sprouting" secondaries.
I would not call them fans as they probably do not like Sakuya for she is, but rather the fan portrayal.

But then again I don't hang in communities and such so luckily I don't encounter "fans" that often , I just browser /jp/ now and then.
