Yandere fairies can stay powerless, but stronger 2hus absolutely need to bring out real power moves in their endeavours. Girls like Yuuka, Kanako, Yukari, Reimu, Yuugi, Flandre would absolutely NOT settle for just a few harsh words towards the whore that thinks she can be with someone that belongs to the yanderehu in question.
Think about it. Would Reimu exterminate the offending youkai or not? What would a girl with power to destroy anything do? A god cannot allow rumors about her lover's infidelity spread, every witness to this would have to be removed. It's just bad for the faith business.
There should be an option to skip any gruesome descriptions if you can't handle them, but just imagine trying to get with some girl only to find out she simply doesn't exist anywhere anymore. Or she lives but performs a 180 and suddenly acts like she hates your guts, with no forgiveness option available. She could run away any time you show up, if it's just to protect her own life.
