People also started calling him a cuck after the whole deal with Yasu was revealed, claiming that he was just a silver medal who would instantly be ditched for Battler given the chance. Even though Yasu is explicitly shown to care for him just as strongly.

The idea of him being inferior to Battler was reinforced by his confession about being jealous of Battler's outgoing and cheerful personality. Even though the reverse is just as true, with Battler readily admitting that he admires and looks up to George.
