I think you just have to learn that you're the only one you can really depend on. People come and go, but as long as you love yourself you will never be alone.

That sounds negative, but it really isn't! Because too often, people try to love others before learning to love themselves. Keep smiling OP, being sad does not help anyone, and always remember to love that person you see in the mirror.
