With Yui's first disappearance in japan, at least it was announced.

Then months later when they started the world tour in US nothing was announced and instead of Yui there was two female backup dancers that looked like MMA fighters. Amuse and Babymetal's overseas management had to do damage control after people freaked out on the internet, and posted a meme about Le Dark Side and how Yui was currently not on on the US Tour because of the lore of the Dark Side or what the fuck ever. Implying that she would come back.

She also then didn't show in the Europe leg of the tour, still with no real announcement about her status.
