nobody has ever gotten good at a language without copious amounts of input and people typically get good with nothing but copious amounts of input
shit like mining and asking natives what things means help, but are not technically necessary, and have different effects on different learners
if you need more structure than a launchpad from which to begin your input journey, you're the weird one, not everyone else
