Well, it's mostly in regards to how they relate to the main characters. Like you get post-Matsuri Hanyuu and how she indirectly influenced Rika's desire for St.Lucia, Shion opposing St.Lucia, Satoko's reaction to learning about Satoshi and eventually giving up on him...

Oniakashi had Rena getting some new memory leaks that ended up completely pointless so far though, but hopefully that will continue and play into future arcs.
