Congratulations, Violet Blue, on creating a poorly written, poorly researched, inflammatory news article that you obviously threw together in 15 minutes. It's easy to see that your only research into this matter involved googling the terms "pantyshot", "misaka", and "momoko" and digesting the the first page results to slander Smit. The article itself is a juvenile, black-and-white conflict between a "sexually exploited" female programmer (laughable compared to the actual sexual exploitation that happens to millions of trafficking victims every day) and the allegedly perverted, misogynistic, pedophiliac Smit. You forget to mention the omission of Porte's authorship as a role in her leave from open source development, as well as caricaturize Smit as a sneaky, shady pedophile for the entirety of the article. Such slanted, inflammatory writing belongs not on a leading software website, but a trashy tabloid. But I guess such reporting forms the basis of your career, huh?

P.S. Are our software packages not allowed to have female names because they MIGHT be related to an existing porn star, teenage pop star, or fictional teenage character? Can you give me a good reason why I can't name my original software package Jenna, Selena, or Hermione? Give me a break.
