I wish I had a dad. My mom always plays favorites with my sisters and they get everything. I got into a fight with my sister about that once, she was angry at me for not having a job or a girlfriend and being dysfunctional. I just couldn't take it and blurted out, "Well at least you had a mom to raise you, I never had a dad to look up to!"

I the started to cry and felt ashamed so I looked down and drove home.

>[Nasu] Overall, the cause was because of watching the first episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion, which can't have been ignored by neither I nor my contemporaries. The story goes back to my high school days, where I met Takeuchi-kun. At the time I announced that I will become a novelist in the future, and Takeuchi-kun said he will become a manga artist, this was like the plot of some popular manga, and in reality we talked to each other quite a bit. Thinking back on it now, it was pretty embarrassing (laughs). Since then, we both graduated from college, Takeuchi-kun went to work at a game company, and I found a local job. I had the casual goal of "finding some time to write a novel," and I didn't notice my dream was slowly being buried while I lived idly as the day by day. Neon Genesis Evangelion was what gave me a big push in the back... or should I say kicked me and sent me flying. Not even the first episode itself, I felt my brain had been smacked hard after just watching the opening theme. My heart thought, how can someone think to bring the PV (Promotion Video) method to anime? How ideas can be expressed so freely in anime? "If there are people in this world who are so ahead of the rest, what am I still being confused about?" My heart was severely shocked. I supposed Eva has the charm and enthusiasm that makes people think "I have to do something." I'm sure of it. Instead of idly saying "when I have time next time," I should at least write something.

I feel my otaku austic brother is going to kill me

I am not very close to my brother although we live in the same house with my parents and both into otaku hobby and touhou, we haven't real spoken in 10 years, becasue most of time he can't control his anger, it scared me sometime. and today I said to his face 'fuck off' so he angered again, but this time he keep keep murmuring 'dead dead dead kill you kill you' about 2 hours

what should I do? should I talk to my parents? or maybe it's just a hallucination? I am not sure it really happened or not, but it would be awkward to ask my brother if he real want to kill me.

Why did no one talk about Fate/Zero here?

I've never been NEET (in the literal sense of the acronym) since I was just in summer vacation after being unable to register for classes last summer.
Now I got dropped off all my classes by not paying by the deadline, so I'll spend another whole semester doing nothing but shitposting on /jp/ and reading lame philosophy books so I can feel better about myself and look down on other people.

19. I never stood a chance, /jp/

My mom always kept me locked indoors, she didn't want me to get kidnapped and I didn't have friends.
My dad worked with my grandfather at a dealership and always had rice Japanese cars like 300zx and a supra that he always talked about.
My uncle was a big fan of dragonball Z and Gundam, and let me borrow his VHS tapes to watch them.
I only had a master system with R-type, until for christmas I received a PS1 when it was new, with games like Einhander and Saga Frontier, and then several other animu games.
A few months after I got the PS1, my dad had just got a new job and got me a gameboy color and pokemon yellow, red, and gold. Later I bought Final fantasy Legends 1-3 and used the maps as posters on my wall.

Then we moved out of state to a bad neighboorhood, and I just played yugioh cars with myself, since now I really wasn't allowed to play outside. I still remember when the first yugioh episode debut in 2000. It was a bit after the whole "year 2000!" deal on TV.

I still don't know if its all a ploy to create a super weeaboo. But I'm not even good at that either.

I like taking screencaps of when I make people laugh and looking at them later.

I liked TypeMoon stuff before it became popular.

Why doesn't /jp/ talk about Fate/Zero here?
