Oh man, fried chicken and chicken nuggets can vary widely.
I've been to Korea, Japan and the American south and ate a lot of it. All places quite proud of their chicken.

-Karaage tends to be juicy, oily and crunchy. With a very savoury taste. It's great as a snack and can satisfy with only a small amount.
-American southern chicken (including popcorn chicken) is very greasy, depending on region it can be crispy or soft, and feels quite heavy, it's very reliant on spice mixes rather than the chicken/juiciness.
-Korean fried chicken is much less oily than the others, lighter, and tends to be a good middleground in terms of texture and taste. They also have a lot of sauces and styles from region to region.

I invite everyone to try out different kinds of fried chicken. It's really a wonderfully varied and enjoyable food. But you don't have to take my word for it, just ask Mayuyu!
