When it's that bad even with the hindsight bonus of looping, it's hard to imagine a fragment where they solve the same situation and split ways amicably. Satoko has no reason to distrust Rika. They would have to already grow apart in middle school, but there's nothing in the setting enabling that possibility. And it would have to be so bad that Satoko is willing to tell Rika to fuck off instead of buying her lies and reassurance.

I guess the "normal" fragment path from 1986 onwards would be that Satoko follows Rika to Lucia and drops out after the club reunion instead of Eua shenanigans. That would allow them to naturally grow apart and fall into the futures they have in Reiwa.
But I don't know how that would work. Satoko literally doesn't have a home to return to, she has nothing left in the whole world. Is she going to live hidden in Keiichi's closet or what? Crash on Irie's couch? Renovate the old Houjou residence on her own with no money?
