Possesive yandere, who declares you as hers and doesn't like it when you talk to anybody else and at the end of the day will spread bad rumors about you unless you waifu her. May try to convince or bribe you into moving in with her. Will get angry if you talk to/date others and she finds out, and she'll fight them. Agreeing to a date with her or enough sex will reduce hate marks, maybe. Easy to anger, but also very quick to forgive if you at least pretend to be interested in her. Think classic Yukari applying her 4D chess strategies to get you.
Something for the femdom/masochist crowd, with her mostly punishing you instead of fighting others. Uhh, Yukari but with a 9-tail cat. Sorry, it's not my cup of tea. Keep it separate.
Yandere that isn't actually harmful to anyone in any way, she'd just be sad and mope about if you don't do what she says. Will try to go for the "wholesome" route, as much as she can. Follows you sometimes. Might try to threaten people with varying results, but won't fight them. Doesn't get angry at you, except for actually taking someone else as a lover. Think Yukari that's just floating in her gap behind you with a sad puppy expression because you once again refused to go on a date with her.
Stalker, will almost always follow you but try to actually stay hidden. She'd watch you and read your inputs to know what you like for example food, your favourite activity like fishing or playing music, sex preferences etc. You might accidentally run into her sometimes, during situations she set up for you two to be romantic in, like a "youkai attack" that she paid for so she can drive the thug girl off and bask in a saviour's glory. Otherwise she'd mostly just spread anonymous rumors(not very effective) and sabotage your attempts at dating others, rather than confronting anyone. Not even you. Will visit your home area often, leave you gifts, panties, love letters, and maybe later she'd try to hide in your room to watch you sleep. You might not even be told about her actions at the end of the day, potentially. Yukari, but she's super shy and has to resort to 12D chess to even talk to you while watching you 24/7.
Cuckquean that will eventually fight other women and coerce them into joining you in the bedroom, or to be part of your loyal harem. Might force her enemies to do it fully against their will, or get you mob girls. She could try to overzealously spread good rumours, or help you out on dates by bringing extra gifts or orchestrating situations that put you in a good light like the trapped animal event. Might backfire sometimes. Will follow you often. Won't get mad at you if you fool around with others, ever. Would fit with the "more lovers" option well. Think Yukari but she's holding naked Ran on top of her and begging you to fuck her. Or actually gapping your dick into random girls without asking for your opinion.
There's also a lot to consider for yandere to yandere interactions, with possesive fighting another possesive, or not knowing about a stalker, or finding out about the cuckquean etc. 3 harmless yanderes sad and angry over that one femdom one that beats and rapes you daily.
Entire Gensokyo being hardcore yanderes and holding a big tournament over who gets to have you. Everyone being very enthusiastic about your harem, except for one poor little youkai that will get mindbroken into liking it too.
Using a set personality system would just create problems for people with different writing ideas for a hu, especially since it can't be easily edited. I think it should be handled exclusively through the trait, like in my post. Don't like the posessive yanhu, put her on harmless or stalker mode, or just turn her yandere off. Easy, one button operation.
