Foreknowledge makes absolute sense in the context of 'prophecy'. What is a prophecy but a declaration of foreknowledge from a being that can predict future events and declare them? Alt-Miyao puts a lot of focus on foreknowledge like declaring X person will die and even threatens Miyao that getting rid of him will make him lose any forewarning he might get.

In another scene, Tomitake shows his 'cards' with a LATO politician. What are cards but knowledge that act as foreknowledge? Later, the narration even says that humans experience joy from knowing something before everyone else does. Having foreknowledge and seeing how people react gives intense joy because we feel omnipotent and omnipresent over others.

I'm rather certain that the opponent this time around is named the Witch of Foreknowledge or the Witch of Fate. There's even a scene with the Warcat trio that talk about whether fate is something given to you and what you do with it. See image >>22260777 for what I mean. Having foreknowledge of your future abilities gives you a sense of comfort but humans are volitional beings; rational animals that are condemned to make choices. Miyao might have been born to be a Gauntlet Knight, but he wanted to make cat videos. The end conclusion is that fate is something you create for yourself based on the talent and luck you were born which is likely going to be the central theme of Ciconia.

I would also like to add that there's an interesting difference between foreknowledge and certainty. While Lambda always preaches about certainty, she always emphasizes it with a degree of self-fulfilling prophecy: work hard and you'll eventually get it. Rika even emphasizes that destiny is bestowed upon those with a strong will which is just an endless drive with insane focus on achieving your goal. Foreknowledge is knowing the outcome with a degree of allocated margin. This is reflected in the last fragment that says that only 80% of the Revelations will occur. The 20% is weirdly unaccounted and I suspect it's the given volitional choice of freedom humans have. In such a scenario, all you can do is maximize the 20% to be the result you want. For example, if you have a 2/3 of certainty and your prophecy is '30% of humans will burn alive, Miyao will eat chicken, humanity be extinct', you'll want the allocated 1/3 beyond the prophecy to be wrong about humanity being extinct but the 2/3 requirements must be done no matter what.

My theory is that it's a new Witch we haven't seen before: The Witch of Fate (Foreknowledge). There is a lot of emphasis on prophecy, foreknowledge and their relationship with power. But this is just in the meta beyond what mortals can see. It's hard to tell but I think that the game is played between this Witch of Foreknowledge and Bernkastel, as referenced by a lot of catlike association in the Gauntlet factions. Hell, Seshat herself looks like a cat. And Lambda probably set up the game, yet it's hard to determine whether she's playing a side or helping Bernkastel win this time around.
It's not a catbox but there are clear WtC rules for winning the gameboard. Although, there are mentions that the space race ended, so perhaps earth is a catbox and so is Miyao's sex, but without any time loop. Perhaps we'll only get a time forward and nothing else.

What are 'political cards' but retained awareness of past, present, and future events that act as power because people are not aware of them? They're merely a placeholder for the power of omniscience.
This also ties with the fact that the Three Kings already plan out the future and the media only reports on it later.
