Since we sadly never got to see how any cousin reacts to Yasu that's a question you can't realistically answer.
It boils down to how you view the characters basically. Since Battler was surprisingly able to forgive Yasu in the end (assuming he didn''t kick them off the boat like pic related) despite just witnessing a massacre, it's hard to say how much we actually understand about the Ushiromiyas.

I still don't get this. It's canonically not ooc for Battler to commit mass murder, he flees the island with a bar of gold, is implied to have kicked Yasutron off the boat and openly lies to Ange so she forgets about the truth in episode 8 (suspicious as hell).
Yet people hail him as the most based and cool protagonist ever and treat his story as some kind of romantic soap opera.
