The threads are getting a lot of newcomers who don't know shit about crap. Right now things are changing from the way they once more fast enough that you can easily notice if you take the time to look.
Can't blame someone for coming down hard to get the message across that this one type of garbage isn't for this place. Only thing is, it's more like a gradient of garbage, rather than a clear, dividing line between black and white.
It's like that for a lot of things, and a lot of people here don't get that at all. It's just something inherent to 4chan, due to it's general culture.
