ALL of Erika's sprites in the Steam version had to be redrawn from sratch because Ryuukishi apparently lost the master files of her sprites and couldn't use them to make high resolution versions for the Steam release. It's like when episode 16 of Evangelion got lost and you can tell its bluray version looks much worse than all the others.

So Erika's OG sprites on Steam are technically different from the originals, although you can only tell the difference if you compare them side by side.

I have no idea how this even happened.
