japanese is objectively hard. here's data to prove it. anyone claiming otherwise is downplaying their struggles in order to make themselves look smarter than they are. even high IQ individuals like mattvsjapan took years to reach fluency. it is not easy by any means.

japanese IS THE MOST difficult language in the world. i think it's time we accept this and pat ourselves on the back for tackling this challenge.

Wow an agency that trains hundreds of thousands of diplomats thinks that Japanese is one of, if not the hardest language for English natives to learn. So I'm justified in feeling I'm a snowflake learning a difficult language. How angry does this fact make you?
