When are you going to get up and fight for the independence of /jp/?

sometimes I fantasize about arriving at Gensokyo and becoming Yuuka's manservant, then somehow dying in the crossfire of one her random battles and going to the Netherworld where I become Yuyuko's manservant. Then after a convoluted plot that somehow involves Yuugi and Suika tag teaming people and Tewi plotting, Yuuka fights a final battle against Yuyuko over me and I'm the damsel in distress.

Yeah, the Lunarians were winning so badly that Reisen ended up fleeing for her life. Just the fact that Reisen, the former pet of the moonbitches was on the frontlines is a testament to how bad things were getting. And as you read in Kaguya's profile, the Americans were actually getting the best of the Lunarians up until a certain point. The only reason why they lost is because they weren't able to secure the capital. Stop trying to write this off as a light hearted segment from SSiB. Lots of Lunarians and moon rabbits gave their lives for their countrymen. Not for honor but for duty. If you read Shiki's dialog to Reisen she said Reisen was guilty for saving her own life and abandoning her comrades that died.
