Yeah, but they also only played in countries that like you said have a high population density, but also have a public transport & train system that isn't complete garbage.

Pretty much all of Europe is connected by high speed trains, much like Japan. Canada has like one train track that was built in the 1800s and is mostly used to transport beaver pelts & heroin.
