meta-Beato is still a good character, but given this solution it really didn't make sense why Battler just forgave and even apologized to her for not understanding that he was actually responsible for everything she did sooner. Even if she had a grudge she really could have at least only murdered him instead of taking his entire family with her to the grave. The way the Beato self-discovery and redemption arc that followed that played out was just totally baffling to me. She should have at least cried like a bitch and asked her families forgiveness or something, right?
