Also showed that she isn't the only youkai in town. So she has a friend and I guess it shows that this guy's experienced something similar to the book seller. Hard to tell what kind of youkai, though. One white tentacle isn't much to go on.
It was a damn good one shot, though. The animation was brilliant and the story was intriguing.
