I thought you meant PUBG collabs. Although the point is that PUBG has done a bunch of anime ones that don't go alongside its basic shooter image, so Higurashi getting one wasn't -that- odd from their side.

Higurashi has had collabs with other mobile games, although they're anime-styled so visually at least obviously they don't clash as much.

I think they kind of stopped doing collabs where Higurashi characters appear in other games after they realized Mei was doing well and would last for a few years at least though. That PUBG one was the last new one, with nothing else afterwards.
