Got an order from one "Scarlet Devil Mansion" for some outsider books.
Boss (and bro) Rinnosuke sends you to deliver them!
Being welcomed into the mansion by a friendly chinese girl and maid!
You take the books directly to the library to the mage who ordered them!
Her name is literally "Knowledge", she must be very smart!
She happily takes the books from you!
As you're handing them off to her, she very briefly locks eyes with you and while it didn't last long it feels like a while of the gaze from her studious purple eyes penetrating deep into your own irises.
You feel a bit awkward now as she looks away after taking the books...
Something about her stare...
Something about the way she looked at you...
Makes you feel in danger!
"It's not very often any handsome men get to actually step foot in my library... I must thank you again. Perhaps if I ever order from Rinnosuke again, he'll send you once more."
You just sort of nod and agree and then say goodbye before leaving!
Wondering why she'd added "handsome" while you're on the way back to Kourindou! It was a bit unnecessary!
You hope she doesn't have anything nefarious for you planned if you ever have to go there again...! Sheesh!
