doesnt excuse the fact that in canon they would at the bare minimum try to heal the poor guy instead of run away and make him feel like an actual monster over something out of his control.
its HOW THE SETTING WAS WRITTEN. monsters arent as shitty as real people, they see someone in need and instinctively want to help even if there is no sexual benefit involved. as opposed to humans, who are generally apathetic.
