Within the context of all 3 speech bubbles, I get that he's saying "don't bring something back based on your personal preferences," but in isolation, it looks like he's saying "No, your personal preferences are fine" in the final speech bubble, which is the opposite of the intended meaning. For future reference, how do I make sense of this?

When て is used twice in a row at the end of a verb, as in してて, is that another way of describing something in the present progressive tense (-ing)? That's the only explanation I've found so far through googling, but it was downvoted to hell on yahoo answers, so I'm not sure about it
