The people on the PZmoe mumble have indeed known each other for a very long time, but the majority of them were also not as socially awkward as most /jp/ers are, right from the start.

A lot of people on /jp/ are very socially detached, let's say. Just hearing a lot of people talk, let alone join in in the conversation, can be too much to deal with.
Some might even get jealous, and depressed, over how well the PZmoe crowd have bonded as a group.
