>tfw synchronicity hits like a truck and seagulls cry next to my window not even living right next to the sea
Disregarding that and those anons that go shitpost seacats on /x/ I have something for you nerds to discuss about.

You know how R07 is an occult enthusiast I bet he would fit /x/ perfectly. So what do you guys think where he came with the idea for Featherine? After a loads of synchronicity I've came to the conclusion that Featherine is based of or even the goddess itself (considering the kakeras matching with our world history) of the Egypt myths. At first I thought the goddess would be Ma'at but many things didn't match but it was a good start with the feather motif but there was an other goddess that matches I bet like more then 2/3 of the motif which is Seshat, summed up a bit:

>ancient Egyptian goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and writing/reading. She was seen as a scribe and record keeper. She is described as the goddess of history. (history being a specific kakera for the specific story or a book in the City of Books and pulling a bit more from this being able to write "history/how it happened" from starting from the ending of that story for example)
>Mistress of the House of Books is another title for Seshat, being the deity whose priests oversaw the library in which scrolls of the most important knowledge were assembled and spells were preserved. (City of Books motif)
>She is frequently shown dressed in a cheetah or leopard hide, a symbol of funerary priests. If not shown with the hide over a dress, the pattern of the dress is that of the spotted feline. The pattern on the natural hide was thought to represent the stars, being a symbol of eternity, and to be associated with the night sky. (her overlords being her priests/priestess represented as being her cats, stars and constellations also related)
>After the pairing with Thoth the emblem of Seshat was shown surmounted by a crescent moon, which, over time, degenerated into being shown as two horns arranged to form a crescent shape, but pointing downward. When the crescent moon symbol had degenerated into the horns, she sometimes was known as Safekh-Aubi, meaning she who wears the two horns. (this one checks out easily not being just wearing horns like Hathor but horns facing downwards like Featherine)

Pic related, note on the 2 details the representation of the horns and a star shaped emblem similar how Featherine has a medallion on her chest and a crescent-shaped device which floats around her head being core symbols for her.

There is more in depth about it but anyone is free to look for themselves if interested.
