In the first place, the purpose of teachers isn't to teach children how to do things they enjoy, but to teach them useful trade skills to keep the economy aloft. This is not inherently evil; it is good for the collective but bad for me as an individual. Parents provide for their children because they are socially, legally, and biologically obligated to do so. You are also confusing people's motivations. People do not become a teacher or a parent or doctor for altruistic reasons, but because they need to make money or satisfy the biological urge to procreate and rear children.

The human world functions well, outside some rare examples like capitalism, as a system of systems which exists to convey society most rapidly into a more ideal future. But I don't want a part of it because I have no emotional connection to other people. I don't care about the life quality of people in the future, because I'm not living their lives, and improving theirs at the expense of my own makes no sense. Also, there is a sense of insignificance: if everyone stopped working, obviously things would be bad, but if only I do it, it won't matter. It's like one person littering into a lake versus tens of thousands of people doing it.
