The entire In-character bit goes out the window considering the entire story is about Satoko murdering her friends. Also while Rika being retarded is in character for her, I don't believe she would continue to waste thousands of fragments for the perfect conditions to appear, that just erases all her character development she got in Minagoroshi and Matsuribayshi. I also found the entire club coming together to stop Satoko to be very cringe inducing and forced especially Satoshi somehow waking up. It felt like awful fan-service shoved into the end of a awful story to make you forget about how retarded the entire plot is and just point at your screen and scream that Satoshi is back without any heart or meaning.
