Suika Fortress developer here; back online after much turmoil, and now working on the game once again. Apologizes I don't have any interesting screenshots, but I'm still working on the graphics for all the new youkai I'm adding in as well as adding in spells.

The game is now mostly decoupled from Vanilla Dwarf Fortess; only the animal men races remain from all the base game civs, and they're looking to be displaced and/or supplemented by my own brand of underground creatures.

In other news, fairies have received several additional castes, including the tinkerer caste (self explanatory; they're good with machines), wind caste (originally merged with light until I figured out that that made no sense; specializes in ranged fighting; the only type of fighting fairies should really engage in), sound caste (a variation of the light caste, made because light fairies already had a monopoly on special abilities, with the ability to blind things, make themselves invisible, and shoot beams; their specialty is crafting), and the "empathy" caste (called heart fairies in-game: they specialize in animal care, and are the only fairies with a higher then 5% chance to know what romance is. If you can hook them up with a leprechaun- well, they're the only realistic way to populate a fort through linage) Right now, world history seems to think they're a continuously dying race, though this doesn't effect their ability to survive. I wonder if it has something to do with their low male ratio?

Kappa seem to be suffering from the fact that DF absolutely hates aquatic civs and seems to only place about two of them before buggering off and proceeding to let them die to megabeasts during world generation. Inabas either die easy or overpopulate even the fairies (Tewi seems to get preyed on constantly, but reincarnates every few years.)

All Suika and Oni civilizations are referred to as clans for easy recognition.

Should the Human Village remain a single civ?
