Do you have any source on whether Rena's backstory/character has been changed after Onikakushi/Watanagashi?
Because I have few evidences that support the hypothesis:
>Ooishi tells Keiichi that Rena visited the mental hospital together with her mother.
>Rena casually mentions that her mother taught her to make kareraisu.
>The fact that Tsumihoroboshi just glosses over why Rena beat her three close friends.
>Ryukishi said in one of his interviews that Mion had her backstory changed (no twin sister and the readers found cute how she cried in the end of Onikakakushi so ryukishi changed her personality a bit), Rena probably changed a lot, too.
