Yasu isn't that inbred. Plus she has really good genes.

I think it's fucked up that Battler stopped visiting his grandpa for so many years and Kinzo died without seeing him again. I'm sure Battler would've cheered him up. He's a funny guy and they actually have a lot in common.

But instead, Kinzo was stuck with KURAUSU and his shitty family, with occasional visits from the vultures wishing he was dead to collect his fortune.

The low running speed represents Miyoko being chased by the orphanage assholes (who had longer legs and were much faster than a little girl, so she was slow in comparison and had to split up with a group of other girls).

The fact that you can't enter any pipes (so far, I'm at world 4) represents her trauma from when she was almost drowned in a drainage tank full of shit as punishment. It's all XXXXXXX in the VN, but it's implied that she was in fact thrown naked into a pool of shit.

The fact that this is a SUPER MARIO BROS 1 hack, which didn't exist in 1983 but came out before 1986, means that this is indeed Lambda/Miyoko's origin story. It's a story that happens between Higurashi and Umineko.

Hell, the music in most of the levels is literally the one that plays during the Miyoko/grandpa flashbacks at the very beginning of Matsuribayashi. It only turns into different versions of Dear You (the "official" main theme of Higurashi) when she's in dangerous places like the bottom of the sea or Bowser's castle. Because the protagonists of Higurashi are her enemies during the story, so their theme song represents the failure of Miyo's goals (danger).

The princess is locked up in a cage at the end of each castle, which reminds me of the OTHER punishment Miyoko was subjected to at the orphanage.

Thoughts?
