The romances in Fate aren't great but they're cute. The problem with Dies Irae's romance is that the main character literally only exists progress the plot - unlike Shirou who is much more interesting - and therefore the romances fall by the wayside. I would say the only exception to that is Kei, who is really cute and her route is not awesome enough to overshadow her. Kasumi is worthless trash and her route is Dies Irae's Fate route. Marie and Rea's romances are overshadowed by the LDO, Reinhard and Mercurius in particular, who really come into their own during those routes.

So Foreknowledge is NOT fortune telling, right? Mercurius doesn't actually know the future. He's just already familiar with all the sensations in existence so he feels as though he did everything he ever does. If that's the case, why is he so good at manipulation? There's a line about how people are always in the palm of his hand no matter how much he loosens the grip. I finished D.I and I'm still confused. Please explain Mercurius to this baka anon.
