You ever think about how the absolute pinnacles of kig content are barely comparable to even decent regular cosplay stuff?

I don't even know why I'm still invested in the hobby. Mutiple masks and hada from various makers, tons of different paddings both self made and purchased, four different sets of breast forms and a wardrobe specifically for kig stuff filled with outfits and years spent experimenting with things trying to perfect it, yet improvement never comes and even the previously mentioned pinnacles that I look up to are still average at best in the greater picture. I don't even understand the appeal anymore, what's the point of it all?
