I supposed that she had been rather rude, but she'd been the reason I met Tenshi, so I couldn't feel all that crooked about her. "And - Wait...Hecatia? The - The goddess of Hell?" Keine was staring at me like I'd just grown another head. "How...?"I tried explaining in more detail, but it didn't seem to clear things up at all. "She made you clothes?" Popular clothes, I added. "But...I don't - How...?" At this point, I suspected that I was not getting any better response, so I decided to move on to Kogasa knocking me down that hole, and my first meeting with Yamame.

That, happily, led to a much less distressed bit of laughter from Keine about Kogasa. "I've seen her around, you know!" She told me. "You really should go and tell her the truth. It's a little bit sad watching her jump at her own shadow." It was definitely on my to-do list. Especially since I'd decided that I was definitely inviting her to the wedding. She was practically the guest of honour. She was responsible for Yamame and I meeting each other, and I hoped that I'd get to thank her properly. And privately, I told Keine, I wondered if I could get her back by surprising her with the invite. "That's a little mean." She admonished me. "But, I suppose, you definitely will surprise her. Just be careful not to upset her too. "I'd do my best, I replied.

Once I got to Satori's first appearance in the story, Keine almost got up. "I know you went to her yourself, and I know you needed to know, but she had no right to-" Keine, I called, trying to get her to calm down. It hadn't been too bad. Yamame had been very caring as far as keeping me safe went. "Yes, I suppose so..." Keine still didn't look entirely convinced about Yamame. I hoped that the rest of the story would help to alleviate that somewhat. She was a lovely person, I stressed. "I'm just...Trying to get my head around it." Keine replied, frowning. Sighing, I decided that I wasn't going to get a better answer and that I should probably just continue.

It was getting late into the night. The snow was coming down heavily outside, and I doubted that anyone was out. I wondered if Yamame was okay. I decided that I would probably give her at least a full day, so I wasn't planning to head back over there until later tomorrow. I opened my mouth to continue but stopped. "What's..." Keine began, but she trailed off too. We'd both felt something, but I wasn't sure exactly what it was yet. Some sort of...noise. So faint it was barely there, but definitely something. Keine looked at me with some slight worry. "Did you...?" I nodded. I'd heard it. It was like something being knocked over. I pressed a finger to my lips and very quietly got to my feet. Keine followed me up, and it was clear right away that she didn't want me going and checking. I hoped that she wasn't planning to get extremely overprotective now that I was telling her about everything that had happened to me. I pulled my coat back on and tiptoed out into the hallway, where I slipped my boots back on. I knew it wasn't exactly polite, but I didn't want to be caught unaware. Keine didn't look upset with me, either. We both stared up at the darkness of the upper floor of her home. The sound had come from up there. It could have just been something precariously balanced finally tipping over, but I just knew that it wasn't. It never was.

We tiptoed up the stairs. Keine insisted on going first, and while it was comforting to know that she was willing to do that, I was the more durable of the two of us, so once we were on the landing, I edged in front of her, looking for the source of the noise. Obviously, it was her bedroom. Where else would it be? We tiptoed over to the door, than pressed our ears against it. First, there was silence, but then I heard something again. Some kind of shuffling noise. A second longer, and I thought that I heard someone muttering under their breath. An intruder? At this time of night? In this particular house? Keine tapped me on the shoulder, and I looked over to see that she was motioning toward the door. Nodding, I took a breath, then threw it open as loudly and quickly as I could. We both thundered inside, shouting at whoever was inside. Then, we both stopped and stared.

They were wearing red. An overwhelming amount of it. The only part that wasn't red was the trim of the outfit, white and fluffy, and their hair, which was a deep, dark blue. They were facing away from us, but clearly had stopped moving when we'd entered. Keine drew up a ball of light in her hand, much like Yamame and Reimu had done for me in the past, and set it to hover over the room. "Who are you!?" Keine shouted. "What are you doing in here!?" The figure slowly stood. Their hat, I realised, was like Doremy Sweet's. Next to them, by their massive boots which their trousers were tucked into, was a large sack. "Is that - Are you stealing my things!?" I could see something glinting inside it, and the several open wardrobes and cupboards didn't help.
