the difference is that puroresu lore is entertaining because things happen and there's loads of characters and they often change over the years, there's arcs and sagas just like my chinese cartoons. Just the opposite, I don't think they have much or any leverage when it comes to executive decisions between stuff like the social media bans/blackouts and talking about how they love cannibal corpse and metallica and totally listen to their music all the time and the 15 different shades of black we've had in their outfits since like 2016. There isn't a single real metal band out there in the world that forbids its grown-ass adult members from having social media or from speaking for themselves in interviews. If a member goes missing, they certainly don't start dumping autistic lore about it the day after

They're not really a band and again if they were, a metal band goes through its experimental phase typically like 10 years and 4 or 5 albums after its first one if even that and Babymetal has only been a "band" for 4 years and two albums
