To be fair this level of anxiety only seems to kick for these very formal, strict scenarios where she is speaking with some official or something along the lines, basically a person she has no anchor to at all. I think the biggest issue she mentioned is that it is in person and she can be seen, which on its own is a pretty bad thing.
She says in the video that she'd much rather chat in that case to avoid that kind of anxiety.
She also mentioned that these days she doesn't run into many situations where she has to face people in the flesh like that which is both a funny thing to say and a depressing thing considering what it means.

And speaking of her being a shut-in someone did ask recently if she has been leaving the house anything lately and she said that lately it has been the same usual Hikkikomori life, although she will have to go out for Holofes and such.
