Low views on new videos has more to do with uploading daily for 2 years straight, most viewers have a massive backlog which they do actually watch. The thing is, most of her content doesn't fit most of her viewership since it's varied and a lot of it is rather simple, so people watch whatever other people are watching.
Of course, this means they could game the system by buying some views for a new video making people believe it's worth their time and causing a snowball effect.
They won't do it though, Ai-chan is an honest A.I.
