It's funny to me, as someone who is fairly 'new' to Touhou, seeing how ghetto and crappy ZUN's original artwork was, and how fans with infinitely more talent than him have actually made his characters good/marketable to the point where there's actually a market for figures for them.

His drawings, even the new stuff, looks like a young teenager's.

But this is what's awesome about Touhou. It's the community that made it happen.

Touhou = the Lovecraft mythos of our generation. Horror is a thing of the past, the future has only cute moe girls, mukyu~
