Both the point about FGO and the translations are very true.
Nasu's VNs are still enjoyable with the translations (obviously, or people wouldn't love them), and they somehow get across his weird writing style quite well. But there are some comparison images describing why the vocabulary for the TLs is pretty lacking.

Still, at least Mirror Moon gave us translations of SOME kind. Meanwhile, fucking Mahoyo and Extra CCC, years later...
