unlike traditional elemental pairings Tom is both weak to (defensively) and strong against (offensively) Molly and vice versa.
ideally you keep your Tom levels higher than her Molly levels and try to have high initiative to act first. admittedly this can be difficult due to cats naturally high agility but you can cheese it with silvervine
