I've only mentioned it once or twice before, but if you're seriously asking then I'll answer seriously. News or other important/popular tweets are a coinflip on if it gets posted at all, then another coinflip to which thread its posted in and then one more to see if it gets posted in both. As for "chat-room posting" if you're one of the handful of autists seriously mad about that, it just splits it across two different threads rather than it only being talked about in one. Nobody here is going to be retarded enough to go "oh, I never visit /vy/" or "oh, I never visit /2434/" or whatever you want to call this place; most people here are lurking both. Not every person here is lurking there and vice versa, but I'd reckon a more than sizable amount is. Then there's the fact that both threads have considerably slowed down on average which isn't really a hard negative or a positive but it is a change. The thread as it is currently pretty much only exists for three things. For an anon in the other thread to keep pissing his diapers about how people aren't "posting in the correct thread", for the small amount of anons who legitimately are only posting in this thread which says nothing good about them given what board we're on, and this one is a real stretch nor will I even begin to push it as a legitimate reason but as a way for one thread to die while the other stays fully functional.

The only difference between the first legitimate thread and the threads made by angry posters in 2019 and before flew was because it wasn't "Mito General" and it was made after the Hololive thread. The only true use this thread has had happened in its first couple of months but now it's just a second /vy/ and you all know this.
