Historically have we ever seen a proven mass transfer of votes from a top candidate that's no longer participating to another 'chosen' top candidate? The only possible one I can see is Mayuyu gaining 50k votes the year after Yuko left but every other time a big name left all the other top candidates seemed to just grow at their normal rates. It feels like a lot of the votes just get spread out amongst the lower ranks.

I do get your point that the amount of free votes this year are on a different scale from before though so it's hard to predict.
