It's more like I'm just used to it. They're the easiest for me to work with. With OG sprites you need to emulate Ryukishi's style, and with PS3 there are a lot more details to work with. As a result, I typically stick to steam when it comes to lewd edits, though I still do non-h edits of other sprites like>>21034052

I've tried working with Ryukishi's art in the past. It's more difficult than it seems to mimic his artstyle. Also while some may find the PS3 art less charming, I personally enjoy that style more and prefer working with it.

I'm an editor, not an artist. It's very difficult to purposefully imitate Ryukishi's art style. This is one of the only ones I've done.

Edit anon here. Last thread someone requested an edit of Jessica wearing Erika's dress using the original sprites. Here's the final version I've come up with. I hope this turned out okay.

The only real troublesome part of this edit was having to redraw the parts of the dress usually covered by Erika's hair, which was about 80% of the total work.
