FGO doesn't even deserve a good game at all. The fans keep supporting it, all they're asking for is more trash like it.
The very idea of a Tsukihime x Fate game at this point, half flooded by FGO's shitty characters, makes my head hurt.

I think the new hiring spree is likely just for UNIST, with the new update they've confirmed to be working on. And if they're working on anything else, I can only hope it's Melty and Nasu has told them he plans to announce the Remake soon.

>IIRC that was from TM Ace when they just announced Extella Link. Nasu and Marvelous thought that having story-heavy scenario will restrict the amount of characters you can use in a musou game (which was clearly one of Extella's major problems) so they planned Link to have much lighter story where you can finish with any character. Nasu also said something along the lines of "making the actual Extella 2 to be more of a traditional game" which seems to imply he's gonna go back to RPG or visual novel style. In any case, that is a good sign that they realized musou = bad for story.

God I hope this is true.
I know people have issues with the Extra universe in general, but at least the original and CCC were more focused than the "let's get as many Servants in as possible" of Extella and FGO trash. TM just keeps picking the worst possible formats for storytelling. As long as Nasu doesn't step away from Fateshit, this would still be better than nothing.
