Acknowledging a particular reality doesn't mean that I am a proponent of it.
I'm just calling it like it is.
I personally don't listen to Korean pop music.
It simply doesn't align with my musical preferences.
(However, I do find some of the members in Korean idol groups to be cute.)
It is evident that Korean girl idol groups have gained more cultural prominence compared to their Japanese counterparts in Japan, which raises the question of why Japanese girl groups are losing ground in terms of popularity; especially among Japanese youth, particularly girls.
I think it is worth exploring the factors that have led to this shift in interest.
