Sorry for reviving an earlier discussion, but it's obvious where Part 2 of FGO is leading. It has been leading to the same thing since 2016. I'm certain Nasu decided on what Part 2 was going to be about back when he supervised and co-wrote the Melty Blood crossover manga. It has a few "tricks and twists" and turns to hide the real plot, but the central characters of the story have always been Olga-Marie and her father. The 3 big mysteries of part 2 are the Priestess, the God of a Foreign Star and Specimen E, and all 3 of them are Olga-Marie (something that has been pretty obvious since Moonlight/Lostroom).

The main themes that have repeated themselves in every single Lostbelt, and that tie back to Olga-Marie are: "humans make mistakes, that's normal and it's fine to try again" and "don't be so obsessed about the future, the small things that you do every day are more important."

These were also the themes explored in the Melty Blood crossover manga, which was about Sion, Extra-verse'sSialim and Olga-Marie. The conflictbetween the Sion and Sialim is also the conflict between two sides of Olga-Marie: the little ghost Olga-Marie that won't stop repeating that the future can't change, and a more hopeful version of Chaldea's Olga-Marie that wonders if the future can change.
