Hata-tan on her side is getting more and more obedient as the abuse gets more violent. It's almost like she has developed some kind of Stockholm syndrome and she doesn't fight back anymore no matter what the evil pair do to her. Maybe it is fear since in the beginning she would try to fight back until momji decided taming her by breaking her nose would be a good thing. Recently momji came up with a new game, hata-tan is to be hit at the head with whatever you think would be funny and she mustn't blink her eyes if she doesn't want to be it twice and if she raise a arms to protect herself she is to be punched (by momji of course) in the face until it bleeds. The previous rules of course still applies and it's not uncommon for hatate to faint in a pool of blood from her multiple times broken nose or smashed eyebrows. Aya told Momji to be careful not hitting her (soft) lips but she sometimes forgets, surely on purpose.

Now Hatate's daily life of abuse seems like a normal routine to her and she refers to aya and momji as her "friends" even though she tries by all means to not be left alone with Momji.
